- SIMPLE INSTALLATION , Step 1 Rotate the baseplate counterclockwise at the bottom of the stop. Step 2 Remove the screw from the inside of the stopper. Step 3 Insert the screw in the middle of the plate. Step 4 Attach and tighten the screw and base plate into your desired location. Step 5 Insert the spring at the bottom of the door stop into the hole in the metal plate. Step 6 Rotate the stopper clockwise until it is fully tightened. Repeat for each door stopper.
